Joy Creed wins TOP FEMALE GOSPEL REGGAE ARTIST, CANADA at the 22nd Annual Canadian Reggae Music Award Show held on Saturday, March 28, 2009. The evening of Saturday, March 28th was an exciting night of celebration for Joy Creed as she took home the award for “Top Female Gospel Reggae Artist of the Year” at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards held in Toronto, Canada. The prestigious accolade represents Joy Creed’s first music award and also as a new and up-coming gospel recording artist living in Toronto. Presented by the CRMA awards committee at the Double Tree Hilton in Toronto, Joy Creed was filled with excitement, as her name was announced as the winner and as she gracefully walked to the platform to accept her award. The most rewarding thing for the night was to see people dancing to her music as they played the track, ‘Song of Moses,’ written by Joy Creed, from her debut album, ‘Lily of the Valley.’ All attendees were elated and on their feet wanting more!
